I found an interesting web site that is perfect for people like me who like to keep track of things, in this case my running distances. I realize this can make me a bit neurotic about distances and times, but for now it’s a good training tool.
http://www.mapmyrun.com lets me plan out a run on my computer. It gives me the mile markers so I know how far I’m going to go.
Of course, the challenge is remembering the route while I’m actually out running! Today I had a nice 2.5 mile route mapped out, but I missed a turn and ended up running 3.25! Luckily it was a beautiful day and everything felt good.
